Fivem Weapon Detector Script Open Source
Caticus Detector adds deployable metal detector arches to your FiveM server. Place them at entrances, checkpoints, or events; when a player carrying a weapon walks through, the detector beeps and can alert security or police. Supports ESX, QBCore, and Qbox with job-based placement, a security menu, and optional persistence. Free and open source. You can place multiple machines and monitor them all via your menu to see which one is set off with a weapon. View Video Showcase
Bullet points
Deploy anywhere — Place metal detector arches in the world via command or menu; mouse-aim placement with scroll to rotate
Weapon detection — Server checks inventory/loadout; configurable list of weapon items that trigger the beep
Beep + on-screen alert — Configurable beep sound, repeat, and HTML security alert when a weapon is detected
Police/security alerts — Nearby officers (configurable jobs and range) get a “DETECTOR TRIGGERED” notification and sound
Security menu — /detectormenu: place, list all detectors (with “Yours” badge), delete your own; row flashes when that detector triggers
Job-restricted placement — Limit who can place and open the menu (e.g. police, sheriff, LSPD, BCSO)
Optional item or no item — Use a placement item from inventory or job-only commands with no item consumed
Ownership & remove — Only the placer can remove (configurable key or from menu)
Persistence — Save placed detectors to file so they survive restarts
ESX, QBCore & Qbox — Auto-detect or set framework in config; bridges for all three
Lightweight — Zone checks with cooldowns; no heavy raycasts or constant checks
Free & open source — Use and modify as you like; by Caticus @ 5Mservers.com
